If you listen to the video sales pitch, which goes on for ages and takes about 15 minutes to get to the point, you’ll think that making money with this system is almost magic. For me it all sounded just a bit too good to be true. So I went to explore a bit more.

The original Google sniper was launched in 2009. Since then there has been several updates the latest being Google Sniper 3.0. It was developed by George Brown who is an internet marketer. The basis of the system is to teach you how to build small websites that focus on single keywords. Then teach you how to get those sites to rank on google.

The theory is that by picking keywords that are low competition you should be able to rank well on google, get traffic and make sales of products that you are promoting on those sites. Sounds good in theory – they make it sound so easy.

To make more money you just invest some of the money you make from previous sites to fund the new ones and so it goes on.

Once you have one site then you pick another product and associated keyword and do it again. If all goes according to plan you will have income coming from each of your sites in a pretty short period of time.

From my experience it’s not that easy or quick to rank on Google you will probably need to spend money to get a good ranking and without a great Google ranking the whole thing falls in a heap. You will also need to spend money on website names (URLs), website hosting and there is probably some payments for link building and outsourcing involved as well. Google’s focus over the last couple of years has been more and more on quality content rather than make a quick buck processes. Don’t think that because this product is called GOOGLE Sniper it is in anyway affiliated or endorsed by Google.

There is another side of the system where you become an affiliate of Google Sniper and try to sell that to anyone you can – that’s fine if it is a product that delivers what it says it will and you are happy to sell it. I think you have a better chance of making money this way.

There is some evidence that people have had a fair bit of success but then I have read others that say that it is a total scam and not to touch it. I think that can be true for every system. During the marketing video they show you bank account details which show huge earning and claim you can do it with little effort. I simply don’t believe that big amounts are going to come until you have been at it for ages if at all. To me promising way more than is practically possible is unethical and bordering on fraud. I can’t see why people just don’t tell the truth. If it will take me six months then tell me that don’t set me up to be disappointed.

Like all things what you put into it often indicates what you’ll get out of it. Some people seem to make a habit of buying courses and then doing absolutely nothing with them or quitting before they have a chance to be successful. If you keep at it you may do OK. I read a blog by a guy who reckons he made $40,000 in his first year by working about 15 hours a week. He was clearly selling the Google Sniper course as an affiliate which he was totally upfront about. He was also a bit critical of the over promising in the sales pitch and estimated that it took him about a year to develop it to a point where he made real money – that sounds more realistic to me. I have also read comments where a guy was so broke he bought this product out of desperation and had made absolutely nothing. It’s not hard to find negative and positive comments about everything.
